Old HSK vs. new HSK 3.0
The old HSK standard had 6 levels. The new HSK 3.0 standard (published 2021) expands this to 9 levels with a much larger vocabulary — roughly 10,969 words in total, versus about 5,000 under the old system. This site is built around the new 3.0 standard.
